THE KEEPER'S LIGHT

An Third Person Adventure inspired by Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Pitch:

"Stranded on a forgotten island with sword and bow, you fight through enemies and solve puzzles

on your quest to re-ignite an ancient beacon to call for aid."

Project Overview

The team:

  • 2 Level Designers

  • 4 Game Artists

  • 2 Animators

  • 2 Technical Artists

  • 6 Game Programmers

Production time:

  • 11 weeks half-time = Around 220 hours.

Engine:

  • Unreal Engine 5.3 as a level editor

  • Rock Solid Engine (custom engine of team)

Main contributions:

  • Level Design lead 

  • Major role in game design and player development

  • Major role in designing open world layout and flow

  • Level Design ownership of the first two islands

  • Assisting with Level Propping / Level Art

  • Member in taskforces for player, game design, metrics, story, visual scripting.

  • ​In-game scripted events using visual scripting in our custom engine​
